Inspection ($30)
When we perform an inspection we make sure your bike is safe to ride. This includes
checking to make sure everything is installed correctly, inflating the tires and
taking the bike for a ride. We’ll make sure everything is functional, or at least
safe, and make recommendations if anything needs to be replaced. This service is
good as a pre-race check or a bike that has sat unused for an extended period.
-
Tune Up ($75)
The tune-up covers just about everything. We will:
True wheels and check hub adjustment
Clean braking surfaces
Wipe frame and fork off and inspect for damage
Adjust drivetrain and check derailleur hanger alignment
Check chain for wear
Adjust brakes (disc or rim) and check pads for wear
Lube cables
Adjust headset
Check all bolt torques
Take the bike for a test ride
A tune-up will also include installation of new brake pads, tires, chain, bar tape,
or other items purchased. Small parts like cables are sometimes necessary, we’ll
call you before we proceed with anything over $15
-
Premium Tune-up ($120)
A premium tune-up includes everything in the regular tune-up plus:
Remove and inspect crank and BB
Remove and inspect seatpost
Remove fork and inspect headset and steer tube
Overhaul any cup-and-cone bearings (hubs, headset, or BB)
-
Pro Bike Build ($175)
We take everything apart, use assembly lubes on every fastener, torque everything
to spec, and face and chase bottom brackets and headtubes when necessary/applicable.
This is the same treatment that all the new bikes we build here receive.

Additional Services
Re-cable a bike ($50): This includes new stainless steel Jagwire/Shimano/SRAM inner
wire and Teflon-lined Jagwire/Shimano/SRAM housing and labor. Different colors often
available depending on what we have on hand. On a road bike this will almost always
require new handlebar tape of your choice (not included).
Add new cables to your tune-up
True a wheel ($20 each or $35/pair): Not all wheels can be straightened
but if it’s possible, we can do it. We’ll also be able to tell you when a wheel
is unsafe or beyond repair.
Bleed hydraulic brakes ($35): We’ll use fresh
brake fluid and give you anything left over.
Hourly labor:
For anything else we charge the industry-standard $60/hr with a minimum $10 stand
fee.
